About Linda Seagraves

Linda Seagraves has decades of training and practical experience in Mind-Body Health, and has helped clients improve their lives in exciting, sometimes surprising ways. These include:

  • reducing pain
  • lowering blood pressure
  • reducing stress
  • changing unhealthy habits
  • improving communication and relationships

Her background includes Nature & Forest Therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, trauma release through Somatic Experiencing, and supportive disciplines such as Yoga and Qi Gong.

With a background as a Marine Corps officer, bank executive and project manager for a Fortune 500 company, Linda spent decades as an organizational leader. Her observations of human behavior and its connection to individual health inspired her to study the mind-body connection.

She began her Mind-Body Health studies at the UMass Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society. For the 10+ years since, she has worked as a stress reduction consultant for organizations and individuals.

Her success in stress reduction inspired her to study related techniques, and she began incorporating Yoga (as a certified instructor) and Qi Gong into her sessions and workshops.

In her stress reduction practice, Linda encountered clients with PTSD and other long-term trauma effects, inspiring her to earn her certificates from Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute and the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy and to incorporate both disciplines into her work.

Last but not least, Linda is certified in the most immediate, specific technique supporting mind-body health: Clinical Hypnotherapy. She completed an intensive course of study in Integral Hypnotherapy™ at the prestigious Hypnotherapy Academy of America in Albuquerque, NM.
